Since the trailer brake port on your 2021 Jayco built on the Ford E-450 Cutaway does not have any power, causing your Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170 to not work I recommend double checking that fuse 41 is installed. It is a 30 amp fuse that powers the trailer brake controller, and is located in the engine compartment fuse box. The Prodigy P3 brake controller # 90195 is designed to go into sleep mode when not in use. This will just keep your settings and will be a very minimal draw like the clock in your vehicle. The display should "sleep" after 15 minutes of detecting no movement. Sounds like the issue is the ground circuit for the backup camera you have on your RV. The power wire seems to be working just fine and connected properly so that would leave the ground as the most likely issue. Make sure the ground wire you are using for the camera is connected solidly and if that doesn't work try running a jumper wire from the wire to a metal portion of the trailer frame. view full answer...
